A Career at Hartley Farm
Why Hartley Farm?
At heart, we are a people business. Our growth and success over the years have in no doubt been achieved through the efforts and endeavours of our team and we know that the best team needs the best environment to flourish. As well as coming to work on a beautiful family farm every day and working with incredible food and drink, we also offer our team free parking, a 20% discount across our business, a free coffee with every shift and branded uniform to look the part! We are also proud to be members of Hospitality Action Group where each of our team has free access to professional counselling and support in all areas of life whether that be at work or at home.
Good to the Core
Our guiding principles at Hartley Farm are Stewardship, Craft & Community. What does that mean though? Stewardship means we take responsibility for our actions and endeavour to have a long-term approach. Craft means we celebrate the skills and expertise in our industry, supporting local farmers, growers and makers. It also means we take great pride in developing our people and the skills needed to make our business unique, whether that be a butcher, baker or barista! Community means we can achieve great things when people come together. We want to create a place where like-minded people come together with a common passion to share, learn and grow
Starting off on the right foot.
Our overriding ambition is to give you the tools and support you need to flourish as a member of the team here at Hartley Farm. From day one, our induction aims to give you all the need-to-know information to get off to a great start. You will then have ongoing support from a colleague to help answer all those questions that come with any new job. After you have settled in, you can expect to have a sit down with your team leader to discuss your induction and most importantly begin to plan your ongoing progress. Whether that be learning through our in-house training or further training from a number of external training providers and apprenticeship schemes we work with to develop your skills and passions.
