BOOK LAUNCH: PHILOSOPHY FOR GARDENERS with Kate Collyns

 

Hartley has been home to Kate Collyns’ triple award-winning organic market garden for over a decade now, and we count ourselves as very lucky to be able to offer our customers Kate’s incredible home-grown seasonal produce year round. Kate is a real expert in her field 😉 so we’re excited to let you know that her new book, Philosophy for Gardeners is coming out on Tuesday 15th March. The book is an engaging collection of essays which illustrates how many philosophical ideas arise naturally in gardeners’ everyday work. Broken into four sections; soil, growth, harvest and cycles, each section explores questions of philosophy through the lens of a garden. Kate will be holding a small book launch in our stretch tent from 2-3pm that day, with cakes and hot drinks. Put it in your diary and come along to pick up a signed copy and meet the author!
