I hope that the festive season gave everyone a nice rest and recuperation ready for the year ahead!

Our focus at the farm for the next couple of months is all on healthy, wholesome food to warm our bodies and souls. As ever, we are inspired by the seasons and the roots and brassicas that are being harvested right now are just perfect for stews and casseroles. In the farm shop, we have a few recipes to get the creative juices flowing with some great offers on ingredients to help you cook up a storm.

After the success of our ‘meat for the week’ and ‘veg for the week’ boxes, we’re bringing more great savings on some of our essentials and fresh produce in the farm shop. Keep an eye on our newsletter for these special discounts to help get the new year off to a healthy and affordable start!

In the cafe, we are busy planning some more of our supper club events including Burns night at the end of the month and s special Six Nations-themed Quiz Night night next month. Booking is now available online or just give the cafe team a call on 01225 864948 with any questions you might have.

Elsewhere on the farm, we’re busy keeping our cows well-fed and watered and keeping an eye on our expecting mums whilst they make the most of their last couple of months before motherhood returns again. The first calves to hit the ground in spring is always a moment in the year to look forward to!
